Vinification:
The hand selected grapes are destemmed and crushed. After a maceration period of 24 hours the mash is pressed carefully with a pneumatic press. The clarified grape must is fermented with selected yeasts at a temperature of 17 degrees Celsius. This Roter Veltliner will remain on the fine yeast until May of the following year.
Wine description:
Full bodied bouquet with hints of candied fruits, some tangerine and honeydew melon, delicate hints of almond, on the palate dense and opulent fruitiness, powerful, excellent acidity, noble long lingering finish. The varietal rarity from Hohenwarth and a white wine Diva.

Drinkable and food comparing:
It is ready to drink in May but it is still promising for a minimum of 10 years. It goes well with all heavy dishes, with creamy dishes, matured cheese and venison.
