Vinifcation:
The de-stemmed grapes are fermented on skins and immediately pressed after fermentation. The malolactic fermentation take place in stainless steel tanks. It is barrel-aged for 2 years.
Wine description:
Deep ruby red with a violet shimmer, fruity-spicy bouquet with noble berry aroma, clean fruit flavour of sour cherry and wood strawberry, powerful, full-bodied, delicate austere with fine and well balanced tannins, a long velvety finish

Drinkable and food comparing:
Drinkable from now on with promising for the next 5 to 10 years. It goes well with many kinds of dishes. Zweigelt ist a good food wine.
